A PDF can look fine on screen and still cause trouble in production. We check the file against the job it is being printed for.

We review the artwork and explain what passes, what needs attention and what we can fix. If the file needs more than a small correction, we’ll quote that work separately.
You can use the returned file with your own printer, or ask us to arrange the print.
What we look at
- Trim size, bleed and safe areas
- Image resolution at the intended print size
- Fonts and embedding
- Colour spaces and spot colours
- Overprint and transparency
- Page count, order and orientation
- Cutter guides and supplied production specifications

You receive the issues in plain language, with the next action made clear.
Corrections by agreement
We confirm the fixes and cost before changing your file. Some problems need better source material.
Prepared for the right output
A booklet, a label and a large-format panel do not all need the same setup. The production specification comes first.
Does a file check include proofreading?
No. A prepress check covers technical production issues. You remain responsible for spelling, prices, contact details and the content of your artwork.
Can you check artwork made in Canva or Word?
Yes. Send an exported PDF first. If a correction needs the original document, fonts or images, we’ll let you know.
Can you make a low-resolution logo sharp?
Sometimes the artwork can be redrawn as a vector. Increasing the resolution setting alone does not restore detail. We’ll confirm whether a rebuild is needed.
